NVOY Fire Rated Glass Systems powered by POLFLAM uses POLFLAM’s proprietary technology to offer ultramodern fire resistive glass products and systems.

In various sectors, fire safety is of utmost importance, particularly in building design and construction. NVOY Fire Rated Glass Systems, powered by POLFLAM, uses advanced technology to create fire resistive glass products that not only enhance safety but also maintain aesthetic appeal.

POLFLAM fire resistive glass meets full thermal insulation and is based on the technology developed by POLFLAM. The fire resistive glass unit consists of two fully tempered safety lites and the cavity between the two lites is filled with a colourless hydrogel interlayer. The thickness of the hydrogel interlayer determines the fire resistive category of the unit.

The hydrogel interlayer is produced at POLFLAM’s factory according to the company’s own proprietary formula. The technology enables the company to produce fire resistive glass with ultramodern properties.

  • symmetrical design
  • extra-large glass lites up to 2200 mm (86.6”) x 4200 mm (165.3”) – the largest in the industry!
  • installation-friendly glass (finished edges and no need of repositioning)
  • high sound reduction index up to 52 dB – approximate STC of 52!
  • high visible light transmittance - up to 87 %
  • UV radiation resistance – no need for additional PVB interlayers or UV-filters
  • extreme ambient temperature ranges from –40 °C (-40 Degrees F) to +50 °C (122 Degrees F)
  • high water-resistance (no need to protect glass edges with aluminium tape)
  • irregular glass shapes available
  • high mechanical and thermal stress – fully tempered safety glass
  • lower weight and reduced thickness compared to other fire resistive glass

POLFLAM fire resistive glass represents a significant advancement in building materials, offering unparalleled safety and aesthetic versatility. Its unique features, including high sound reduction, excellent light transmittance, and resistance to extreme temperatures, make it an ideal choice for modern constructions that prioritize safety without sacrificing design.
